The Ultimate Spring Cleaning Guide for Easter: Refresh Your Home with DID.ie
We’re just at the point now where we’re working on getting the heated flooring in and getting it juuuuuust right and then after that we’re on to the tile!
After that, we had a bit of momentum and just went for it.If you’ve been following along on Facebook, you’ve had a bit of a sneak peak into what’s been going on.
So here’s the scene around here lately..This is how it looked as of Friday, and we’ve made absolutely zero progress since then.Literally, all that junk on the floor is still in the exact same spot.
The weather this weekend was beautiful so that caused us to work on the garden the whole time and completely ignore anything inside the house.I’m not complaining!.
I thought I’d show you around some of the details before we got too far along in this project.
I may get too distracted by some pretty decorations and just forget to tell you about all the hard work we (OK, mostly Chris) have been putting in on the trim in here..For the width, we just left it as-is and it was perfect.
More than perfect!.This room only has one window, so I made 2 panels.. For each panel, I folded the sides in about a 1/2 an inch and ironed it, then sewed it in place..
I folded the bottoms of the panels in 1″ and ironed, then the tops got folded in 3″ and ironed. Both the bottom hem and the top were sewn in place as well.. And guess what?
